Procrastination

As much fun as smack-talking (or rather, smack-blogging/wiki...ing) with Rob is, I thought I might make a semi-serious, rather intellectual entry. Oh, who am I trying to kid?

Now, I know as seniors the last thing we need is another tool for procrastination. Yet, I can't help but share this wonderfulness I have discovered: StumbleUpon. StumbleUpon is a toolbar that you can download that will take you to a random website based on the interests you choose.I first heard about StumbleUpon in visual rhetoric class this past summer (Dyana, you have probably heard of it too then), but did not really discover how glorious it is until this semester when my senioritis decided to run amok. Everytime I open my internet browser I am tempted by the little button that so cheerily says Stumble! And so, I have discovered many random websites that probably would have been better left unvisited. But every so often something good comes along.

Here are a few of the better random websites I have discovered:
Writer's Resource Center ~ because we are professional writing majors after all...
Musicovery ~ could spark some interesting copyright issues...
Visual Words ~ a dictionary that is both captivating and nauseating
Famous Fonts ~ of course
CN Tower Time Lapse ~ which is actually pretty sweet

So yeah, some random links and a new (or maybe not so new) procrastination tool. You're welcome. :)

Mac vs. PC: How to Decide

Hmmm....shall we convert to the Mac Island? These fantastically smart commercials make me think my PC ways may not be so smart.

Mac Island

In retaliation to Rob's slandering of The Printer Corner, which he so aptly named Mac Island.

Hello!

Hey girls, you said you wanted to start a blog! So, instead of diligently working on my presentation tonight like I should have, I decided to make the dream of our collaborative blog a reality. All we need to do is come up with a better name and, you know, good things to write about, and we will be all set:)
